Live for Today

I finally have a new blog post! I made a little altered hanging that uses some of the fabulous Tim Holtz Correspondence papers.

I started with a piece of recycled chipboard (a cracker box) for my base. Then I started layering the papers, adding stamps, ink, and embellishments as I went.

The photo is of my husband, taken when he was about 4 years old. He thought he was something else riding with no hands, and training wheels!

For the hanger and bow, I used a piece of white seam binding that I dyed using distress inks. I like to buy rolls of  white seam binding since I can color it to match my projects.

I hope you’re doing something crafty this week, and keeping cool!
