Each year, I make a set of ornaments to give as gifts. This year, I decided to use some of the vintage tart tins and Jell-O molds I’ve been collecting for years. I have them in all kinds of shapes – hearts, stars, bells, flowers…
I searched and searched in EVERY box, drawer, cubby, and cabinet in my craft room, and they were no where to be found. I even thought my husband might be sneaking into my craft room and throwing things out behind my back! I managed to find a few very old, rusty, grungy tins. They would have to do.
I added a cut out of vintage sheet music to the background. Then I added a tiny bottle brush tree that I glittered, a teeny wrapped present, and a darling little Santa.
A glittered edge of Platinum Stickles gives some added bling to the tart tins.
Two weeks later, I finally found my collection of tins – in a small box sitting right under my desk. They have now been moved to a storage box labeled “TINS”. If you happen to see my husband with this box, tell him you know what he’s up to!
This is my last post for 2016. I hope you have the merriest Christmas, the happiest New Year, and the most blessed time with family and friends.
Oh, they are absolutely adorable, Erica! Love the old funky junk tart tins and love those vintage Santas! Such a sweet vignette with the tiny pressies and bottle brush trees! Love, love these! And yay for finding the rest of your stash, too! So glad your hubby didn’t get a hold of them! HahaHA
