Snow Fun Cards with Carta Bella

Today I’m sharing my latest design team post for The Crafty Scrapper: a wintry card set I made using Carta Bella’s Snow Fun collection. This collection has a lot of fun imagery that is perfect for an after-the-holidays project.First, I created a gift box from a sheet of cardstock for the bottom and a sheet of the “Snow Angels” patterned paper for the top. I embellished the top with one of the collection’s journaling cards, which I blinged with a clear Wink of Stella pen. The snowman is fussy cut from another journaling card. I made the banner from “Winter Banners” paper. Let’s take a look inside.

The box holds a set of three note cards, all made from the Snow Fun collection.

I used various trims to further embellish each card.

I used stickers from the Snow Fun collection, but I added pop dots adhesive to the back of each to give them more dimension.

For this card, I embossed the card stock using a Tim Holtz embossing folder, and then lightly rubbed a silver Brilliance ink pad over the embossed areas.

We’ve only seen a light dusting of snow so far this winter, but I’m hoping for a true snow day this year!

SUCH a cute notecard box set, Erica! That collection is adorable! Love how the word strip journaling card dresses up the top of the box, and your fussy cut snowman is super fabulous. LOVE all the cards, too. Great trims and fun designs. Adding the silver ink over the embossed pattern was brilliant!
