Snow Fun Cards with Carta Bella

Today I’m sharing my latest design team post for The Crafty Scrapper: a wintry card set I made using Carta Bella’s Snow Fun collection. This collection has a lot of fun imagery that is perfect for an after-the-holidays project.First, I created a gift box from a sheet of cardstock for the bottom and a sheet of the “Snow Angels” patterned paper for the top. Hoppy Easter

I love making Easter crafts. After Christmas, I’m ready to pack away all the red and green and bring out the spring colors. Easter crafts are the perfect way to brighten my mood when it’s still a little chilly and dreary outside.

I made a set of these sweet Easter bunny cards for all the little munchkins this year.

I used papers from the new Bo Bunny Soiree collection and some older My Mind’s Eye paper that I have in my stash.

Here are the cards I made this year.

This was my assembly line card. I used an image from a vintage Christmas card for the background and embellished it with glitter and puffy “snow” flocking.

Then I added a deer that I cut from October Afternoon paper.

I made a small series of cards using another vintage image. This time, I experimented with textures and patterns for the background. I layered woven paper that was the texture of a dryer sheet with vintage sheet music and wax paper.

This one got an extra-special treatment with the addition of a glittered snowflake.

And finally, I had one deer left over from the other cards and...

The Bonanza Continues

I still have a few cards to share.

Lots of feminine papers and pretty trims.

I used a Prima stencil and some modeling paste to add some texture to this card.

And lastly, a couple of recent birthday cards.
